FLETCHER WINS THE POINTS LEAD

Congratulations to Randy F for holding off the dogs and finishing with the points lead. Dogs are an understatment, as the two with the best chance of knocking Randy out went out 1st and 3rd leaving the door open for Fletch. (he still had to finish 5 places ahead of Tim). We had a few new players. Welcome Jeremy, who took 2nd) Ken C., and Al to the game.
The Game itself turned out to be a very long game with the blindes getting quite high before we got heads up with Tim and Jeremy. Tim finally put Jeremy away, vaulting himself up to 2nd in the points with his first place finish.
The Final Event is set for Friday April 18th. We will only have 11 players who qualified. The qualifiers and their starting chips are posted to the right of this colunm. The payouts will be APPROXIMATELY $1,000 for 1st $500 for 2nd and $250 for 3rd.

Log Jam at the top sets up a INTERESTING final month.

February is done and the pts. lead becomes VERY INTERESTING. The top three players are only seperated by 2 pts., Randy F 69pts. Randy M 68pts., Dale W 67 pts., with Tim only being 6pts. back of the lead. This could set up for a interesting game next month as finishing one place higher could mean the winner of the pts. lead for the year.
The Feb tournament was well played and congratulations goes out to Lan C who was voted into the CLUB at the begining of the night, and than took it down ( I think there has been a motion for a re-vote), with Rick D taking 2nd. GOOD JOB LAN.
Kirk has been added to the list off qualifiers for the final event with only Mike H needing next month to qualify. This will only leave us with 11 to play the final if Mike qualifies.
A welcome goes out to Bob M who played his first game with us and hopes to continue with us next season.

Hallengren wins AGAIN!!!!!!

January is complete with a better showing. We had 14 players with Mike Hallengren wining it again. Mike's only made 4 games this year and has won the two biggest turn outs we have had this year to move into a tie with Dale for the $ lead. The night started with Tim being knocked out on the first hand of the night by Kirk. I'm not sure what they had as I had not made it to the game yet. Fletch took 2nd (to move into the point lead) for the 3rd time this year, after winning the 1st 2 games last year, he can't seem to finish the deal this year. Mike H took a hugh chip lead after knocking out 3 in one hand (Mike M, Dale, & Rusty) and than played some great big stack poker to pretty much walk over the rest of us. We are down to 2 games left before the final. We still have a couple of plyers who need to qualify.
