August Is In The Books

August is done and points have been updated. Only 11 players again, I know summer is a little slow but lets try and make it on Sept. 11th. Those of you who had brought potential new members the first month or two need to call them and let them know when the next one is if you want them to come. I'm only calling the people I brought to the table.

Remember it's not necessarily about how many people we get. Make sure it's someone who will fit in half way descent. It only takes a couple to ruin the fun for all.

Starting Chips Have Changed

July is done with only 9 players showing up. I know it's summer but let's try and make it for the next one August 14th. Those of you who have invited people like on the first month, YOU need to call and let them know when the next one is if they don't know. I am only calling the guys I invited.
Seeing how no one seems to stick around for a 2nd game any more, we voted on increasing our stating chips to $5000 instead of $3000. This will make the game take a little longer if people start to hang around for a second game we can look into moving our chips back down than if we choose.

The June tournament is done. Congrats to John L who took out Dale after a long heads up battle. Points have been updated.

The Start Of A New Season

Well we have started the new season. We had quite a few new faces at the first tournament. It's nice to invite new players, but remember to try and invite someone that will fit into the group. Also a halfway decent player or someone who has the potential of being decent. It only takes one or two people to ruin the whole thing. The reason me and Steve started this thing is to have a good game. So think about who you invite or we will be right back to what we were trying to get away from.

The Main Event will be April 10th we have 13 quailifed.
